Robert Anderson is the Founder and Managing Broker of Anderson Urban Real Estate, a boutique advisory and brokerage firm headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida. With a reputation for turning challenges into opportunities, Robert is redefining the brokerage model by fostering meaningful relationships and pioneering creative deal-making strategies that connect capital, people, and vision.
Before launching Anderson Urban, Robert served as Co-Founder and Managing Broker of Tortoise Realty Group, where he helped establish and scale the firm into a respected presence in the South Florida commercial real estate market.
Robert’s professional foundation was built in entrepreneurship and business development. In 1999, he co-founded a 45+ member technology and research agency that launched global digital products for organizations including NIKE, Bank of America, Major League Baseball, Office Depot, and NBC Universal. He later spearheaded a landmark $2.5 million+ partnership with JPMorgan Chase on behalf of a client company, strengthening its financial position heading into the pandemic.
Active in international business circles, Robert is also involved with the Miami Chamber of Commerce Dubai, Palm Beach Chapter, where he helps foster cross-border relationships and investment opportunities between South Florida and the Middle East. His participation reflects Anderson Urban’s global outlook and commitment to connecting local clients with international capital, innovation, and markets.
In addition, Robert is a Global Individual Member of Concordia, an influential worldwide network of leaders, innovators, and decision-makers advancing public-private partnerships. Through Concordia, he engages directly with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to address global challenges ranging from sustainable development and economic growth to health, security, and social progress. This role gives Robert access to relationships, insights, and opportunities across industries and borders—an ecosystem he actively leverages to spark collaboration, unlock investment, and create meaningful impact in the Palm Beaches and beyond.
Today, at Anderson Urban, Robert and his team leverage relationships across finance, education, healthcare, development, government, and philanthropy to provide advisory services that go beyond transactions. The firm specializes in investment sales and development opportunities, complemented by an exclusive residential division tailored for discerning buyers.
Deeply rooted in the Palm Beach community since 1988, Robert is a Palm Beach Atlantic University alumnus and recipient of the university’s American Free Enterprise Companion Medal. He is also a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and has served on the Board of Directors of Solum Global, as well as civic and philanthropic organizations including the Rotary Club of West Palm Beach, Living Hungry, and Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast.
Beyond business, Robert is a 4x Ironman finisher — including the 30th Anniversary of the Ironman World Championship — an avid runner and cyclist, and a proud resident of Flamingo Park in West Palm Beach, where he lives with his wife, son Levi, and their two rescue dogs.
